What Are Nightly Notes?
- They're the opposite of Morning Pages.
- So they're written at night instead of first thing in the morning.
- They are typed instead of handwritten,
- They're public instead of private,
- They're guided by questions instead of flowing freely
- A completed entry consists of six questions and six answers instead of three pages
- Since they are public others are allowed to comment on them
For an interesting variation on daily writing see 100 words.

It is 10:02 pm.
- who impressed me the most today? The pre-service teachers in the Elementary Art Education class I'm teaching. I introduced them to a ton of new ideas, concepts, and art today and they were all able to live with a bit of frustration long enough to let interest overtake the challenge of newness.
- what did I do all day? tried to work my plan
- when did I leave the house today? late - after 4
- where did I go today? to teach class
- why didn't I get more done today? I waited for the mood to strike. It never did so two things I had planned to do did not get done. I need to just assign a time for exercise.
